Program Detail

Additional information can be added to each program, for example to include information such as program start and end dates.

Specify the relevant field type. If the field type is Selection, use the Parameters link to define the available drop-down selections.

Once the fields are created, you can add the relevant information to each program by using the Manage Programs > [Program] > Settings > Extended detail function.

Note: Any Start and End dates specified in the program detail are for information purposes only. Dates set here do not affect program availability. See Program Properties.

CIP Codes

One or more CIP codes can be added to a program. Requires the CIP code feature.

These codes can also be imported into existing programs.

Rubrics

You can specify the Rubric to be used for program-level assessment, depending on the Type of program.

For each program type, choose the rubric to be assigned from the available list. Use the View Selection link to view a selected rubric.

Roles

Program roles can be defined, for example "Program Coordinator".

Portal users can then be assigned by role to a program, with start and end dates as appropriate.

See also, program roles report.

Note: Role names are globally unique. If the Credentials module is installed and the role name is already in use, it cannot be used as a program role.

Student Enrollment Types

For system where the Assessment module is installed, the types of student enrollment can be specified.

The defaults are Major, Minor and Concentration. These can be changed and/or added to.
