This function requires the program self-study feature license.
On systems where the Program Review feature is enabled, the Self-study tab will be available in the Programs module.
This feature allows the institution to create and manage one or more self-study projects for program review.
A project consists of:
•one or more existing programs
•assigned people (from available portal users)
•a set of milestones
•a review cycle
•a general and a program-specific field-set
A program self-study time track and associated review cycles will be generated by Xitracs support on system setup.
A set of self-study project milestones can be created and associated with a specific project.
Programs > Control Panel > Program Self-study Milestones > Create a milestone set
Once the set is created, click on the Milestones link to add milestones
For each milestone, specify the days after project start that the milestone will come due.
Programs > Control Panel > Program Self-study Projects > Create a self-study project
1.Enter a project Name
2.Select the relevant Department
3.Select a General Review Form
4.Select a Milestone Set (see above)
5.Select the relevant Review Cycle
Once a project is created, it will appear in the list of self-study projects.
Use the People link to add one or more portal users to the project
Use the Programs link to add one or more existing programs to the project and select the program-specific field-set to be used.
Use the Properties link to set a project start date and end date, and whether a project is Online (available for editing), Locked (available for viewing only), or Offline (unavailable).
The start date will be used to set the milestone dates, based on the days defined after project start.
