Portal User Assignment

Portal users can be assigned as an Assessor,or Peer Reviewer/Approver or Viewer.

 

An Assessor has the ability to input information (i.e. write the assessment report)

Peer Reviewer/Approver can view reports in progress but can provide feedback using the Comments function and approve reports if the workflow feature is enabled.

A Viewer can only view reports in progress.

 

While a portal user cannot have different assignments in the same program, these may differ in other programs. e.g. an Assessor in Program A and a Viewer in Program B.

 

If a field has the Result parameter set, a peer reviewer can also set a status when entering a comment, such as Approved.

 

Select a portal user to assign to the program. Check the 'email immediately' box to advise assignees by email.

Use the Resend link to send a reminder email.

 

If the workflow feature is enabled, approval request emails will also be generated.

Role Assignment

 

If your system has the program roles function enabled and roles exist, portal users can be assigned, for example as a "Program Coordinator".

The start and end date for a user role can be defined as appropriate. If set, this will determine whether a user appears in the program roles report for a selected timeframe.

A comment may optionally be added to a user assignment. This will then be included in the report.
