The Field Set function provides the tool to build the forms that may then be assigned to a self-study project.
There are two types of field set that can be created:
1.General review - these fields create the form for the overall program review
2.Program specific - these fields create the form for each program included in a project
1.Click Create a general review or program specific self-study field set.
2.Enter a Name and optional Description for the set.
3.Click Submit.
Once you have created the field set, you now need to add the fields.
1.Click the Fields link next to the new set.
2.Click the Add a field link.
3.Enter a Name and optional Description for the field.
4.Select the field Type. This determines the type of response required.
5.Check the Optional box if a respondent can mark the field as Not Applicable.
6.If this is a General Review field set, select the Report Section where the field is included. (See Report Layout below).
Be sure to create general review fields in a logical sequence in accordance with the report layout below.
7.Click Submit.
To a create a child field, click the Add link next to an existing field.
For fields that require a selection as a response, you will need to set the parameters.
1.Click on the Parameters link next to the new field.
2.Click Create a field parameter.
3.Enter the parameter details. The details will differ depending on the parameter type.
4.Click Submit.
5.Add additional parameters if appropriate.
