Workflow LMS Transfer

For systems where the LMS Connector is installed, students and their associated assignment artifacts can be transferred into a workflow.

 

icon_alert2 The course sections to be included in a workflow must already exist in Xitracs.

 See Credentials > Control Panel > Course Catalog.

icon_alert2 The Xitracs user administering a workflow must have access privileges in the LMS to the course(s) included in the workflow.

 

Select the LMS transfer radio button when creating a workflow.

 

Once the workflow has been created, click the Add section link to add the course section(s) to be included in the workflow.

The sections available will be those that already exist in Xitracs for the relevant semester and must correspond to a course in the LMS.

 

For each selected course section, click the LMS submissions link to display a list of assignments in the corresponding LMS course.

The list will display the number of students in the course and the number of students with files associated with the assignment.

 

Select the assignment to be included in the workflow and a list of only those students with files will be displayed.

 

A checkbox Add any new students to Xitracs provides the option to prevent any students in the workflow who do not already exist in Xitracs from being added to the system.

This is checked by default. When unchecked, this is useful for testing where you may want students included in a workflow but not added to the system.

 

Select the student(s) to be included in the workflow.        

 

Repeat for each selected section.
